A City Council Meeting

W

ith a Mediterranean vibe, Milo’s Inn and Café offered a spectacular menu. Ellen ordered La Parisian—turkey, brie, cucumber, tomato, greens, and dijonnaise on a homemade croissant—with a cup of French onion soup. Tanya ordered the Greek wrap—kalamata olives, pepperoncinis, feta cheese, spring mix, romaine, cucumber, and tomato with red wine vinaigrette. And Sue ordered the lobster and crab roll—Lobster meat and herbed mayo with lemon served on a toasted homemade roll. Since it wasn’t too hot outside, they sat on a shaded patio beneath a vine-covered arbor among Greek statues and the calming trickle of water from a nearby fountain. While they waited for their food to arrive, they sipped iced tea and snacked on warm pita dipped in delicious hummus.
